Technical Product Manager
From a stakeholder’s sentence to a live system — validated by the data.
I frame the problem, prototype it, write the PRD, lead the build with engineers — and I query the production data myself at every step. Six years split across data, research and product; the platforms are the proof.
Case studies
Four platforms, told the way I report findings at work: the finding first, then how it was built.
Transactions Monitoring Portal
A fraud problem described in a stakeholder meeting became a live anomaly-detection platform that risk analysts open every morning.
Consumer Intelligence System
Executives were deciding on week-old reports. Now they watch the consumer business move in real time.
Rider Hotspot Model
Riders were positioned by habit. I modeled order demand into a hotspot network that puts them where the next order will be.
Food Haven OMS
A catering business was managing orders by hand. I designed, built and now operate the system it runs on daily.
Smaller builds
Things I made because I wanted them to exist. All of them live, all one click away.
Sequent
AI-powered adaptive learning platform — generates a personalized curriculum, quizzes and flashcards for whatever you’re studying.
Live — read the storyLangua
A quiet daily German practice app, built for my own B2-and-beyond routine — with an AI tutor inside every lesson.
Live — read the storyPractice Arena
The question-bank platform I built to pass my own certifications — 1,300 questions, mastery tracking, weakness drills and per-option rationales across PSPO I and AWS CLF-C02 tracks.
Live — read the storySearch Query Generator
Feed it a merchant or product — it generates the many ways real customers would search for it: training and test data for commerce search systems.
Live — read the storyHotel Booking System — Excel & VBA
A full booking system built in Excel/VBA for a hotel client — good enough that they’ve now commissioned the software version.
Client work — read the storyMy journey
I was told I wasn’t qualified to study computer science — wrong background, they said. So I turned to Excel and built my first application there — Excel didn’t ask for qualifications.
The pattern showed up early. In secondary school, everyone kept asking the same question — what’s being served today? — so I pulled the week’s menu into one simple document anyone could check. Scattered information in, one trusted reference out. I’ve been shipping that same move ever since.
At university, the computer science door was closed to me — but the build instinct didn’t care. When a student association I’d joined was drowning in scattered Excel files, I built it a database system in Excel and VBA: open the file and it scans the day for you — whose birthday it is, who missed the last meeting, who needs a follow-up, who’s graduated, who’s making progress. During national service I did it again: the hospital ward I managed inventory for received supplies but couldn’t track what was used or what was left — so I built it a stock-tracking system in Excel.
My final-year research is where it clicked: I love taking a vague problem, breaking it down with data, and presenting what it actually means. My master’s sharpened that edge into a craft, and I turned it into Insight Data Lab — a consultancy helping organizations make smart decisions with their data: gather it, refine it, make meaning from it. That work is what got me noticed by Hubtel, Ghana’s leading payments and commerce company.
There the instinct compounded: from researching user behavior, to owning products across a live commerce ecosystem, to owning platform builds for executive stakeholders — a fraud monitoring portal, live intelligence dashboards, a demand model that positions delivery riders. The way of working never changed: someone describes a problem, I get into the data myself, I spec the smallest system that solves it, and I stay with the build until it’s live.
Outside work I run the consultancy and keep building — mostly tools I wanted that didn’t exist. The German practice app? I’m the student. The exam platform? I sat those exams. When I need something, I build it. That’s the hobby.
